Anyone have allergies? even on my allergy meds, wearing my FF mask at night with the filtration has made breathing much more pleasant....

It seems to be helping me as well. This is my first allergy season with the mask, so we'll see.

With the Hepa filter and Humidifer I've been having like 4 hours of clear sinuses in the morning!

It's been great!

allergy relief

I, too, have been enjoying being able to breathe in the mornings. Soon the heavy season will be upon me, and I will still have the little island of relief that is sleep time!

This is GREAT!

Big help for my allergies! Also, no cold in first 16 months of cpap.

I agree, allergies are minimal and I have hardly been sick. I think with adaquate sleep my immune system must be in better shape.

A friend of mine who uses CPAP told me that he will actually put his mask on during the day when his allergies are acting up. He says it gives him a break from the allergens and makes breathing easier.

Speak for myself, after 2 years I am still unsure of the effect on sinus.

In the past 8 months, lost a lot of weight but noticed an increase in nasal congestion ? - still not sure why. So for the past 2 months have been on nasonex. That seemed to ease it. 4 nights ago I staretd using the pur-sleep & while this is purely my subjective opinion, my nasal breathing has been a lot better, very much so.

I need a lot more time to prove there has been a direct link between pur-sleep & improved sinuses, but at the moment it seems that way.

My allergies too have been helped by cpap. Before using cpap I couldn't breathe out of my nose at all, since using cpap for 1 1/2 years I actually don't mouth breathe anymore. It seems the cpap pressure has opened up my sinuses or may be to breathing filtered air all night has helped. Whatever it is I'm grateful for the improvement.
