Software?

Post by jennie_len » Wed Apr 04, 2007 7:04 am

I have a possible silly question....

What is the deal with the software? What is it? What does it tell you? Would it work with my machine? And what are the differences?

In a nutshell, I have never been introduced to this and have no clue about it. Wanna inform a newbie? =)

If you click on the picture of your CPAP machine at the bottom of your posts you will be taken to the page w/information about your machine - including the fact that it is not fully data capable and therefore not compatible w/any software. Your machine can only supply compliance data.

A fully data capable CPAP machine can provide much of the information available during a regular sleep study via the proper software. It can't provide the movement, heart rate, 02 sats type of info gathered during a sleep study but it does provide information regarding the apenas, hypopneas you encounter during the night, leak rate, pressure, etc.
