the Soyala nasal mask is my pick, comfortable, seals good and silent, best elbow system of any mask, headgear is comfortable.

For once a Bot was smart.

Indeed! I just spent 10 minutes sitting here with the large nasal interface on, and it sealed with a much looser headgear configuration than I was using with the medium. I'm going to sleep on the issue *chuckles* and see how it feels in the AM.

I alternate with the breeze and mirage activa and like them both. using chapstick or secaris on nares keeps away the sore nose as well. good luck with the search

I alternate with......Ummmm......NOTHING!
Still on my first mask/seals/headgear, etc. (have lots of extra masks and seals when this one craters) and can't imagine using anything else.

Does that mean I'm "boring" (don't answer that) or did I just luck out with my first choice?

Best wishes, (for those of you still searching for the one that works BEST for YOU)

Doctors and DME's don't pay enough attention to masks. TO me the mask is the single most important element in the treatment of APNEA.
I have been having dry mouth problems lately, apparently from mouth breathing and waking up every hour.
Tried going bacg to F/F mask and being kept awake by leaks. Saw DME (Apria) ten days ago and asked to try the hybrid and was told that it is no longer being made, which was a blatent lie.
Woke up this morring with a scab on the bridge of my nose from the nasal gel mask.
Have an appointment with the doctor Friday. How do I impress upon him the importance of seeing that I get the proper mas??

I just want to go back to sleep!

And I'm darn glad this thread was brought up (and "salvaged") before you got to it, Linda!! My 02 DME who is taking over supplying my xPAP supplies (God bless him!) was just out w/a bunch of masks for me to try. I fell in love w/the Vista (I think it is a Resmed mask). Its a nasal cushion and oh! I wanted it so bad - BUT - I couldn't eliminate the leak around the eyes, its just too broad across the bridge of the nose for me. *sigh* I didn't think to ask, and he didn't offer or suggest, that the Vista has other size nasal cushions or if maybe they make it in a pediatric size.

Anyway, since I was having problems deciding between the Activa and the ComfortGel he left them both to try for several nights and he will pick up the one I don't want to keep next week!!! I was flabbergasted he even suggested it!

I will say, for someone who likes the nasal pillows but needs to switch to a nasal cushion on occasion - or vice versa - the ComfortLite 2 is a GREAT one to consider since you receive both options w/the mask and headgear. I've had my most success w/the CL2 - but curiosity, I just had to try something else!

Women are Angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly.....on a broomstick. We are flexible like that.
My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.

You may just have to get the one you NEED by going out-of-pocket with CPAP.COM.
Otherwise, you may be in for a lot of frustration and get nowhere.

Good luck,
