Uhhh ... the one that fits you the best will be the most comfortable.

There is much more variety in the shape and size of facial features than there is for mask types. So what fits some persons well will no doubt fit others poorly.

And comfort has little to do with effectiveness, leak rate, etc.

I didn't mark the poll because Dreamstalker and Julie are correct. Mask comfort is something that has to be for each user, and most comfortable doesn't mean it's giving you the best results. Jim

I agree that besides comfort, how well a mask seals, how low the AHI is when using the mask etc are equally important.

I'm using the Hybrid mask and it is a godsend for me.

I think.....

.....the poll should be the most popular FF mask. Every mask fits everyone differently, but it is good to know which one fits the most people.

When you add to the equation the fact that I have to chin strap or tape......I have to say the Hybrid because I don't have that problem... if I didnt mouth breathe, It would be a little nothing mask like swift or nasalair 2

When I compare the poll results with the cpap, com purchase reports,
https://www.cpap.com/brandChartLines.ph ... me=masks-1 with the poll
viewtopic.php?t=18077&postdays=0&postor ... viewresult
I am astounded. I bought a ComfortFull 2 on the grounds that it seemed to be the most popular sale, yet it shows low on our poll. Similarly the hybrid shows high on our poll yet low in sales.

Does anyone understand the significance of these differences?

John M

Could it be that the Hybrid cost almost $90 more?
Just a thought.

I agree with Mike Robert. The extra $90 can matter to some (not to me because I know I'll spend a lot more in a couple of years if I'm not compliant).

Also, cpap.com data only reflects sales on cpap.com and their sales account for only ~ 5% of the total sales of these products in the US.

The poll is flawed.

One cannot draw conclusions from it even if it had been designed correctly (ie. with a measurable purpose). Using 16 observation data for 8 parameters generates an equally flawed hypothesis and no significant understanding can be achieved.

the poll is flawed because whats comfortable is what works for YOU.
just because i like the hybrid the best does not mean it's the most comfortable. The most comfortable may leak or whatever....

That said...I like Hybrid the best
