Two Things NOT To Do When On CPAP Therapy

Post by OldHippie » Sat Mar 10, 2007 9:02 am

Just a reminder of 2 things you should NOT do when on therapy, both of which I did last night and woke up unrested and regretful.

1: Do NOT watch TV when in bed. The "I will watch for a while till I get sleepy" easily turns into "Just one more episode of Special Unit 2" on Sci-Fi TV.

2: Do NOT put your mask back together wrong after a thorough cleaning...it will come apart in the middle of the night. (And it takes turning on all the lights and waking up completely to get it back together correctly).

A tired,
Louise

Giggle. And DON'T read a GOOD book just before bedtime. That "one last chapter" will get you everytime. (And you probably won't remember much of it anyway).

LOL, I did #2 last night, but made it worse. Instead of fixing my UMFF, I thought, well, this would be a good time to try that Soyala FF. WRONG!!! That is one gawd-awful mask for me.

I'm tired witcha.

Rick.
Wake me up when this is over...

I can't watch TV but for a different reason-I have missed the endings of a ton of shows because I fall asleep within 5 minutes of putting my mask on!!

TV puts me to sleep in 5 minutes - or less.

I had to watch Lost Weekend 5 times before I ever saw the end.

Wish I could stay awake and see one more episode of anything.

Thanks - regards, Dee
