Injury to throat?

Post by millertunes » Fri Mar 09, 2007 10:06 pm

Has anyone ever felt like their throat was injured from the inside from using a cpap machine? I traveled last weekend and turned off the humidity and woke in the morning with a terrible sore spot down in my throat or windpipe to be exact. i can't seem to get rid of the pain. Before I see the doctor (and have a tube inserted in my throat) I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what to do about it?

Thanks,
Millertunes

Whatever it is... try drinking some warm water... see if you can soothe it.

I have this sometimes

I get this sometimes, if I get a dry spot on my throat or a sore I develop a canker sore. They take 1-2 weeks to heal, hurt like hell and I have found that the only way to make them feel better is to eat popsicles or otter pops. The cold moist sliding down the back of the throat feel good. If is lasts longer than a week, you might have your doctor take a look.
