Problem with Notification of Replies

Post by roster » Fri Mar 02, 2007 3:54 pm

I am no longer getting notification of replies. My profile has the box for "Always notify me of replies" checked "Yes". My email address has not changed.

Anybody else ever have this problem and know the solution?

Speaking of "animals"......(do I resemble that remark?)
I had the same problem awhile back. I PM'd them and e-mailed them. They never opened my PM, so I'm assuming that they finally did get my e-mail. About a week later, the notifications started coming through again.....still are.

Good luck,

You said that the notify is turned on in your profile, is the box also checked by default when you post?

Not sure what's going on. I got a notification today at 1:17pm for another topic. I have turned it off in my profile, but I think this one was "on" when I originally posted to it.

Haven't gotten any others, as expected.

I'll check the box at the bottom here and see if I get a note.

I'm getting them most of the time, but they usually arrive a couple of hours after the reply was made.

Are you talking about 'resting up' for a 'night out'?

Ahh, the good ol' days! ...when 'life' began at 9 p.m.. .

Yeah, the good ol' days, when on occassion I would have to tiptoe into the house just as the sun was coming up, only to be greeted by my wife, inside the door with a cast iron frying pan in her hand.
I've had to wear this black helmet ever since....

VADER:
Your humor is very appropriate this time, and funny too.
That's the "Vader" we hoped was behind that helmet.

I was talking about being anxious to try out my CPAP equipment. That is what was "finally here". I had some trouble getting everything straightened out and ordered. BTW, I didn't get the nap... wife and 4 kids you know.

Cheers,
Greg

...another 'problem' with these notifications to report!

I recently received email notification of a reply to something.....ONE MONTH after that reply was posted! I didn't think to double-check the date on the last post, before I responded = don't do that with some topics!! .
And they said computers would solve ALL our problems - ha!

I am also having this problem and don't know what to do. I have tried writing to the contact us site, but still not working. Any suggestions for me? A few threads I would really like to follow.
