Least expensive source for Encore Pro

Post by TwoWheels » Wed Feb 14, 2007 8:09 pm

Just got my Remstar Pro M series (Paid cash, since insurance bought the remstar plus a couple months ago and my DME wouldn't exchange it like they promised).

I also just ordered a DM3500 card reader, but I'm out of funds and looking for a copy of encore pro. Is it available for less than $95 anywhere? Are older versions compatible with the M series pro?

Can I read data off the card without the encore-pro software? I'm pretty handy with Excel!

you need at least 1.6i for the M series... anything older won't work for it.

A Google search for "encore pro" 1.6i turns up one source (non-US) with a price equivalent to slightly more than $78, at current exchange rates. Count on paying some for the currency conversion, and not certain what shipping would be. Many sites offer price matching.

And no. Nothing else will read the card.
