Reservoir Tank...dish washer safe or not?

Can I wash my Resmed 10 Air Sense reservoir in the dishwasher?

I assume the seal is not safe to do so.

My understanding is that there are two models of these reservoirs. One is dishwasher safe and the other is not. One costs more than the other, guess which one?

If you've ever disassembled a dishwasher you know there's a garbage disposal in the bottom of them... yuck. Just use vinegar and a brush.

At one point I paid for a dishwasher safe tank for my S10 thinking it would be easier. It cracked where the metal meets the plastic on the bottom after about the 3rd wash. I've also tried the regular tank in the dishwasher, its the same, neither one is good for more than a few cycles in the dishwasher. Now I use vinegar and dish soap, occasionally with an electric tooth brush to get into the corners.

Resmed makes two different humidifier tubs for the Airsense 11, distinguishable by the color of the plastic tab on the top. The white one requires distilled water and is not dishwasher safe, while the gray one allows potable water, and is dishwasher safe.
