Help Uploading to Sleephq

Post by Amishboy51 » Mon Jun 01, 2026 4:40 pm

I've been trying multiple times over the past few days to upload my files from my Mac to Sleephq, without any success. I just now dragged the necessary files again from the SD card & dropped them into the box. But after clicking Upload, the progress bar remains fixed at 0%.

I've tried looking at Sleephq's Help link, but apparently it's only available to paid subscribers.

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc., would be appreciated.

[but feel free to "dumb down," because my skills are very "basic"! :? ]

Are you dragging multiple individual files into the SleepHQ upload window or the folder the files are contained in? If you are dragging multiple individual files, try dragging the folder that contains the multiple files into the SleepHQ upload window.

Thanks for the reply.

No, I "think" that I'm dragging the folders, e.g., DATALOG, SETTINGS, etc., not individual files (which I probably couldn't figure out how to do anyway). When I drag and drop the files, I first get the little blue spinny-thing, and then it looks like the folders are ready to be uploaded.

On several previous tries, I did manage to add the folders, and a few of them were uploaded. I also tried adding just a few of the folders at one time. But even then, after a couple folders got uploaded, when I draggied the remaining folders into the box, there was an immediate "failed" message when I tried uploading them. In desperation, I even tried compressing files, but that didn't seem to help either.

For an Airsense 11 (which I also have), drag these items into the Required Files and Folders box:

Thanks for the suggestions.

Since my last post, I located and watched an old video from Sleephq, and realized that I was trying to drag too many folders at one time (my SD card goes back 5 years).

So, instead of dragging the entire DATALOG folder, I opened it and dragged only a week's worth of data. VOILA, it worked perfectly, and I got a successful import message.

But, when I tried to upload another week's worth of files, nada. The progress bar doesn't move from 0%, and the Data Imports circle in the menu on the left just keeps spinning. And there was nothing that explained what exactly I'm supposed to see after the successful import.

So, basically, maybe 2 steps forward, but one giant step back. What am I still messing up?

Okay, I just tried uploading a week's worth of data (~100 files), and after >10 minutes, the Progress seems to be frozen at 1%.

Any thoughts?

Are you saying that I should drag the entire DATALOG folder? Because several people have suggested that I drag only individual files (e.g., week, month, etc.), to reduce the "stress."

That suggestion to only drag a limited number at one time made sense; I haven't replaced the card in years, so the files go back to 2021! However, I've only had very limited success dragging individual files; the Data Import progress bar shows 0%, and it stays there.

Thanks, but I've been trying that repeatedly, with only sporadic success.

As I understand it, there are 3 steps involved:

1-upload my files by dragging & dropping;
2-import the data from the uploaded files;
3-review the Sleephq analysis of the data.

I've probably tried to use the free Sleephq program at least a dozen times in recent days. Sometimes, after I've dragged the data files & other requested files (e.g., Settings) into the box, and click on Upload Files, nothing happens. The Progress bar is at 0%, and remains there. Other times, the Progress bar goes like lightning, taking just seconds to upload. Then, when I click on Export Data, sometimes I'm successful, other times nothing happens. But, even when I see the "Complete" message for those files, nothing further happens: no analysis, report, etc.

Basically, since there are three potential issues any time I try to use Sleephq, I have no idea what I should be doing differently!

In case I've been unclear in my rambling, here's what the screen looks like, after a successful file upload & data import:

That's certainly my understanding as well.

I'm not sure what's going wrong; I can't see the screenshot you posted, just the filename.

Please try posting the picture again, I'd really like to be able to help.
