HELP -will my respironics M bipap pro ever work for me?

I'm so frustrated I could scream. I have no internet access at this time, so am at DH's desk at work trying to get this DT3500 card reader thing to work. I tried to install the correct driver, rather than the one that came from two-factor. Immediately I got an error message EP SMC installer driver requires Encore pro 1.3 or greater. So, is this large file driver only the driver? Do I have to obtain my Encore Pro separately?

If anybody has some guidance for me, since I'm not going to be able to sit here during work and try and read through all the related posts, I'd love to receive an e-mail or a PM here.

I have been on this machine 7 weeks, drove an hour to the post office to pick up my card reader today (marina office is never open, and it was not delivered, but mailman left a card saying they couldn't deliver). I still only have the rolling average A/H index to go by. I was so hoping I might get this up and running, and now I've got a mess, as this card reader isn't working for me.

Help please.

Yes, You have to have the Encore Pro software installed first before the card reader can be installed.

Yes, you need to get the software, version 1.6 or 1.7 for the M series machines.
