I haven't heard or seen anything about a settlement I returned their machine years ago and they sent me a replacement and then I was told not to use it Because they hadn't really fixed the problem according to the FDA

I've never been paid for the cost of my replacement device, even though I, according to them, qualified for the award. You say that you just received a check? I guess that I had better check the mail today, we have a PO box, and I have to pick up my mail from the post office in town.
Yes, I got a check on the day I made my post. If you have your claim number from your email if you filed online you can call 855-912-3432 to get the status. The representatives can now tell you the status of your claim unlike a year ago when they couldn't tell you anything.

You had to sign up for the class action settlement and the deadline was around 18 months ago. I never heard anything about not using the refurbished Dreamstation they sent me. If you signed up for the recall, and had not moved, you should have received a fairly thick envelope from the claims administrator inviting you to file a claim. They could have paid the claims automatically since they had everyone's address from the recall.

I just now got off the phone with an agent of the Settlement Administrator (insert appropriate echo) and Maryanne told me that they do NOT have access to any account info in regard to the Device Replacement Award. This award will be sent out in the early Spring of 2026, kinda like where we are now, right?

I haven't moved but I didn't pay for it the insurance did so maybe that doesn't entitle me to a settlement.

I have been using the refurbished machine! Never heard not to. Been away from all forums for ages. Lots of other health issues I’m dealing with. Did file for claim and get a meager check but still stuck with “fixed” machine that doesn’t work as well as my original one due to age. Now they want me to get a new sleep test. Current pulmonologist doesn’t know how to order new one. Never got a script for changing to auto bipap before old doc left the practice. Humidifier quit so there’s a gap in usage necessitating a new test. Not happy at the moment :(

Get another doc. Or have this doc call (or send) to whatever Co. you use, they will let him know what the script needs. But me thinks another doc is in order here. He may also want another PSG too.

All I can tell you is my experience. I gave them the number from the email I got when I signed up online for the settlement and they were able to confirm my claim was approved for payment.
