I researched the best mattress for back pain as I wanted something more supportive and comfortable after experiencing ongoing lower back discomfort, especially in the mornings. I’ve been dealing with stiffness and soreness after waking up, and I realized my current mattress might not be providing the proper support my back needs. My very first sleep study was at a Marriot Inn. I thought they had the best mattress I ever slept on. So I started making phone calls. At the time they didn't sell their mattresses but do now. Get a room and try before you buy. Good Luck

The only expert on you is you so IMO you should have a low threshold to send an online purchase back if it doesn't work for you. I ordered the "best" mattress online and sent it back after one night. After sleeping around (so to speak) found my Miracle Mattress (S&F) at a hotel in The City. Bought it at Raymour and Flanagan locally.

Consider an electric bed frame. It helped my back pain as well as neck pain.
