Hello!
I am checking back in hoping for some more wise advice.
The CPAP has been a great blessing and it is quite comfortable to me now, with one exception: Sometimes after I doze off and the machine ramps up, it wakes me up and I feel a bit aggitated by the pressure. I did make an adjustment, lowering pressure min and max slightly, on Sunday, Nov 16, to see if that would help. The ramp pressure doesn't ever bother me, and I don't seem to have many events during the ramp phase either. I didn't wake up and feel annoyed since turning the pressure down, but I may have sacrificed a little bit of effectiveness, as my AHI went up a tad. I think I will move back up to 11-16 range toniight and see if I still sleep well without waking up "agitated" by the pressure. My mask is an F20, although the machine reports something else unless I manually correct each day.
WIth this information, I would greatly appreciate y'all taking a look at my data and giving me your suggestions for improvemnt. The data shows, on average, one cluster of events per night also. I am wondering if that could be positional? Also, it seems like higher limits on pressure reduce my OA events but increase CA events, and reducing pressure does the opposite to both. Perhaps with more time at the higher pressure, the CA events will wane?

Thanks so much!

Those are post-arousal CAs. Your breathing is being treated. You are not sleeping well. Adopt a strict sleep hygiene. After some time, your mind/body may become accepting of CPAP.

Thank you, Granny. If you think I am not sleeping well now, you should have seen me before! My AHI was 59 untreated - I am sleeping like a baby now, but still looking to improve. Thank you for helping me.
