Hello All;
I haven't gotten my machine yet, but I figure if I ask the questions now, the better chance that I can work with what I get without repeatedly going back to the drawing board . . . or at least be that much closer to what I really need in the beginning.
I was curious to know from the side sleepers, what your opinion of the best FF mask for side sleepers. I am more comfortable on my side, and while I was happy with the Ultra Mirage FF mask, it did leak around my cheeks (hmm, that doesn't sound good . . . anyway) when I slept on my side. I didn't get to adjust it much with the wires and everything and was hoping that I could work that out at home.
Any thoughts on the matter . . .

I hate to tell you, but the gold standard of FF masks, according to everyone I've read on here who has tried more than one, is the Ultra Mirage.
If it wasn't working for you (and I can empathize, mine didn't really either), I don't know as there are other options.
Although there have been some interesting suggestions about making it work better. Make sure you wash both the mask AND your face before putting it on, apparently facial oils make it leak more. Also, someone suggested some kind of gel (Ayr gel was for nasal pillow interfaces, so I don't think it was that...) that helps it to seal better. But I don't remember what kind of gel it was...
So just go out and use AIM gel toothpaste like caulk.
Liam, who uses caulk for toothpaste. Horrid taste, but wonderfully white teeth.

Re: FFM Side Sleeper
I switched from the mirage ultra to the mirage series 2 mask. I also sleep on my side and the top part of the ultra that rest against your forehead made it hard for me to sleep on my side because the pillow would push the forehead support bar and then make the mask leak. With the series 2 it doesnt have the "top bar" so my face rest better on my pillow.divajojo wrote:Hello All;
