Post by sleepingbetter0209 » Sat Aug 09, 2025 12:30 pm

I am in need of light blocking mask that will be CPAP friendly and help with light as sometime I awaken with morning light and want to get back to sleep. Anyone have any recommendations that work with hybrid style mask ?

I never found any that worked with the mask. Maybe some swim goggles that you paint black?

Hybrid style CPAP mask.
Light blocking eye mask: "Sea and Sun". very soft, I put it on after a I put on the CPAP mask.

There is a type that looks lke goggles, expensive, and and was no good for.

I use an ordinary light-blocking mask that I already had, and just have it do what it can. Lots of light gets through, but it's better than nothing.

Why not get yourself some blackout curtains?

These are a necessity for us as our neighbor to the north, for some UNKNOWN reason, keeps ALL of his outdoor lights on 24/7/365. Why during the day? Who knows, he's an idiot!

These things are good for more than just blocking out the light, they're also good insulation for the cold weather.

I like to use my phone for "white noise" to help me sleep. I use inexpensive wireless sleep phones that are like a headband with soft speakers over the ears. I pull it down over my eyes, too, because our window coverings don't shut out enough light, especially this time of year. This blocks out the light very well.

I doubt I'd have much luck sleeping while wearing swim goggles.

You might dream about drowning.
