Dump the Soclean and also stop using bleach in your tank! There's no reason to use such a strong chemical in your tank. White vinegar is what you want to use.

I also use a Soclean unit after every use.
... I discovered black "hard" particles in the tank in addition to black "streaks" floating in the water.

It has happened before, that black "fines" from the carbon filter (these were Soclean filters) were installed in the Soclean Machine.

My question is, is this residue a mold residue?

no, it's CPAP residue, you've ruined your machine by using the fauxclean.
And voided any warranty that Resmed might have wanted to still have. on it.
