Re: Washing new supplies before use
I've never washed new supplies before first use, and I'm guessing most of the regulars don't.
Occasionally, I've seen people post about not liking the "new plastic smell". So they might, but I don't think a single washing helps much with that anyway.
If it was important the manufacturers would advise people to.

I let new stuff "off-gas" outside the package for a few days. But presumably, it's as clean as it ever will be.

I treat them like ziploc bags, you don't wash them before use, right?sleepyliz123# wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 11:49 pmCan someone please tell me if I need to wash new cpap supplies before I use them?
Thanks.
Now, new pots and pans, or sheets, yeah.

Re: Washing new supplies before use
My understanding is that it is much more important that we remember to wash our hands each time before we post here at cpaptalk.com.
