New here, trying to make sense of my results and put it all into context. Anybody care to take a shot at it? What do you see here that is worth noting? Here is last nights data: (See attached)

Here's what your data looks like:jonesresidence wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:01 amNew here, trying to make sense of my results and put it all into context. Anybody care to take a shot at it? What do you see here that is worth noting? Here is last nights data: (See attached)

You asked what was noteworthy.
Well, the first thing is your AHI is a bit higher than we'd like to see. However, part of that is the large number of hypopneas that are scored in clusters, and some of those clusters just might be sleep-wake-junk (SWJ) breathing.
In particular, the cluster of about 7 events scored around 1:20AM. You turn the machine off right after this cluster happens and is a noticeable change in breathing around 0:50AM. So it begs the question: Were you semi-awake during that half-hour, drifting between wake and light sleep? If so, those events are not likely real, but the 30 minute SWJ period might be a significant factor if you though you got a lousy night's sleep when you got up in the morning.
Likewise, the clusters scored around 4:50 and 5:05 look to me like they are likely SWJ caused by you drifting between wake and light sleep while you were deciding on whether to just get up or whether you should try to get some more sleep.
In general, I'd say that most (if not all) of the parts of the night that are flagged as "variable breathing" all look like they are probably periods of SWJ breathing. And since "variable breathing" makes up about 1/3 of the night, it begs the questions: How much time do you think you spend tossing and turning and not really "sleeping" during the night? How restless do you think you were during this night? And have you ever had problems with insomnia?
The other thing I want to point out is that your leak line is actually pretty good: You are using a PR machine, and the top leak line is your total leak rate which includes the intentional leak rate for your mask. The bottom line is a good approximation of your excess leak rate. The excess leak rate is usually right at 0 L/min and its largest bumps are a mere 10 L/min and those bumps are all pretty short-lived. What this means is that if leaks are not disturbing your sleep, you don't need to worry about fixing them. But because there is evidence that you may have had a very restless night, it's important to ask: Do you think leaks are waking you up and bothering you by making it difficult to get back to sleep? Because any leak, no matter how small, that causes you to spend significant amounts of time waking up and fiddling with the mask, can create enough disruption to your sleep to make you feel less than good the next morning.

Re: Help With Analysis of Results
Thank you for the detailed analysis and feedback.
Every night I have to get up and use the restroom, and that happens roughly around 1am-ish, so that explains me turning the machine off.
I do get up around 5am and sometimes I wake up before that in fear of my alarm which would explain the SWJ.
Never had problems with insomnia.
I'm using the AirFit N20 and that has been the most successful fit for me. I've tried many masks and I've had leak problems with all of them. I know the N20 works because all of the pressure that is being forced down my throat is ending up in my gut and esophagus, it makes for a very uncomfortable morning and I'm wondering if that is causing unconscious restlessness throughout the night too?
I have an appointment with the sleep doctor in April (That is the soonest available) to discuss aerophasia problems.
I was told about the F&P Evora Full Face Mask by a family member that seems to work well for them, but I don't know, it seems all masks that give good seal will cause me to ingest air.
