first AHI of 0.0!
first AHI of 0.0!
Hi gang,
I want to celebrate my first AHI of ZERO! I will hit the 6 month mark this week. Wouldn't you know, I have a cold too! You would think that would make the airway more difficult to open.
90% pressure was 10, average was 8.1. About half the night was at 7.
This is with my new mask, the Puritan Bennett Dreamfit with Dreamseal cushion.
I wish I didn't have this blasted cold, as it would make celebrating more fun.
Zeros to everyone!

Wow. Great night for you, Mom!

CONGRATULATIONS! You are my hero! You've achieved my goal! May you have many, many more such nights (sans the cold, of course).
But how can you sleep on your back w/that mask?? Or don't you ever sleep on your back?

zero night
Hi Slinky
Never sleep on my back, but spend lots of time flip-flopping from side to side and mashing my face in the pillow. The back of the mask is really nice - it connects with 2 wide bands which velcro together. I think it could be comfortable. You might be thinking about the Breeze. Now that would be uncomfortable if sleeping on your back.
I am just so happy that my smart card did not decide to take last night off as it sometimes does. Wouldn't it have been sad to miss the good news?
I hope you get to zero too Slinky, and everyone else, too.
Now that I have thought about it, I wonder if my cold kept me from sleeping well, so my throat did not relax as much. Oh well. Whatever works.

bravo
:Bravo on your wonderful accomplishment......I long to get there too.
I used the breeze dreamseal last night for the first time and had to constantly keep it from sliding, have you made any adjustments to yours or did you add any extra straps. I tried it two days ago and had to keep messing with it, it seemed to move alot. I use the breeze nasal interface and love it. I was hoping the dreamseal would give my nares a rest. i may try to add a strap to it........Congratulations on your great number 0.0..Ellenroll:
