AWAKE group or Support Group in Houston area.....

Post by KeziasPurr » Sat Jan 27, 2007 9:15 am

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here would like to start a CPAP support group here in the Houston area. There's got to be a lot of hoseheads here, I just haven't found them yet.

Breathe well,
Lisa

There are two groups if you live North of town. One in Montgomery (north of Conroe), and one further out in Bryan.

The only Houston hosehead I know of, recently moved to west Texas. Another one lives over on the Gulf. But at least you are close to cpap.com. If I still lived in the area, I would meet with you.

Lisa,

My wife and are both hoseheads, living in southwest Houston. With the number of sleep labs around here, there are bound to be hundreds more of us in town. I'd be interested in an AWAKE group.

I have been a hosehead since August of 2006.......I love my CPAP so much I could be the poster child for OSA. I live in Richmond and would be very interested in a group. Count me in.

Happy sleeping,
Sharon

I'm in the Cyprus area so I'll lend my support. But I have to tell you that I went through the monthly support group meeting with hearing aids and what it boils down to is listening to a small group of people who are so happy about a change they made that they have to tell somebody in a similar situation or listening to someone vent.

Either way, I suggest that this forum (which is headquartered in Houston) and available 24/7 is the most convenient support you'll find.
