Well I am fairly new here and have had a question or 2 118 will read one reply why is that? I thought that people here would be helpful. My problem flu and congestion. Also howdo I disinfect my machine and parts. Is vinegar all I need to use?
Use of the CPAP during the flu or a cold is highly recommended, especially with a heated humidifier. This will help your loosen chest congestion and keep your lungs clear. Use a nasal spray at night (not an OTC if you can avoid it) YOu'll no doubt feel better using the CPAP at night than you would without. It seems to really lessen the effects of a cold or the flu.
YOu don't need to disinfect the machine at all. Use vinegar water solution to disinfect the hose. Simple soap and water on the mask. Vinegar might not be good for the mask as it might deteriorate the soft silicon and other softer parts.

Some people don't respond because sometimes people post without asking a specific question that can be answered.
I see many posts which often appear to be a comment rather than a request for help.
There are questions however, where people simply don't know the answer.
When looking for help, it is also useful to use the search feature on the site to find topics which have already been discussed (you need to be logged in).
Your specific questions have already been answered several times on other threads...
