Or an author search:

search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=- ... mit=Search
I never managed that. The advanced search gives me nothing. You don't really write that command letter for letter, do you? So what am I missing?

I dearly wish I understood more of what you fine people are saying. I looked up LSOS doc and found lumbar-sacral orthoses which I suspect is something different. I offered the O2 info to the sleep doc and he really doesn't share any of his thinking with me- he has the ResMed cell program to check my machine and other than that all I can tell him is I feel like
crap on a cracker. I will call today to make an appt with a lady doc at the same office- I usually communicate better with females. Will likely take a while, I am guessing.

I have always though fairly highly of my brain but I am seriously impaired lately. Once in a while my mind is sharp [1 or 2 days from 10] but I cannot depend upon having presence of mind on any given day- which makes a lot of things hard to handle.

Last night was #3 without the EGR[ not right, that is an automotive term] and I slept soundly, woke disoriented but recovered enough to put my mask back one and go back to sleep.
Very disoriented today, sleepy, muscle fatigue and lethargic. Echo at 1:00, not expecting any revelations. I leave the first of the year for two months in the south and really need to get my act sorted before then. Thanks Gene Last night.....
It’s good that you’re going to try to get in with the new lady sleep doc. Sounds like your current sleep doctor is arrogant, dismissive of your valid concerns, and isn’t making any effort to address the fact that your sleep apnea is light years away from being well treated. Hope the new doctor will be better!

If I was in your shoes when at the office getting your echo today I would ask them to send you a copy of the Echo report.

For our purposes, just the EF will be fine.

The main data point from the Echo you are concerned with EF; ejection fraction for those of us who aren’t fluent in acronyms;) is only one data points of many Gene and his cardiologist will want to consider when evaluating his heart health.

It’s also a good idea to keep hard copies of important medical records considering transferring records from one organization to another is often times not as easy as it should be, so I suggest Gene get the full Echo report for both his knowledge and records.

Hopefully Gene will find some answers that help him get back to his normal mental acuity and will get better sleep soon!

Urban Dictionary helps with L-SOS.

Not so much with your use of WAG.

The CompSAS he mentioned is "Composite Sleep Apnea Syndrome".
Complex Sleep Apnea Syndrome actually, but close enough.

The OP is going to have to upload his entire Oscar file to dropbox (or similar) cause the next WAG is going to cost him at least $1700.

And/or a couple 2-3 office and/or sleep center visits.

Today my mind is back- I feel 90% complete [probably all a 76yo can hope for]. Echo went good- fun watching the operator manipulating the trackball arrangement on his laptop- I have spent the last 25 years on computer graphics for signs and 3D modeling for production- so can enjoy watching a master.
I will not have results for a day or two and don't expect anything exciting- I am just eliminating everything I can think of that could be causing this crazy ups and downs I am experiencing.
I made an appt with a PA-C as I was trained as a Technician in 1965-6-7 and have functioned as a tech my whole life, working on the LEM module that landed on the Moon , Then my own businesses repairing/restoring/customizing Corvettes for 20 years and the last 25 in Signs/Graphics/3D signage. I hope the PA is more tech as opposed to the engineer [MD] but cannot even get in to see her for a month.
Here are charts from last night [EPR on] and the night before with no EPR. It seems when leakage is up the AHI is down?

Really significant CSR as analyzed by Resmed. Answers my question about if his prior was a one-off.

Did you notice that on the ResMed sleep study sheet it sez CSR is 0% and 0.00? I am into work today but my mind is not booting up properly. Body/Muscle seem OK so far.
