posting Oscar chart for opinions?

Post by Marcusstephen » Mon Oct 10, 2022 6:27 pm

Hi
Just wondering if posting Oscar charts is still an option to draw opinions from other users?
TIA

Thank You
I have been alternating between a resmed airfit f20 full face mask and a BMC F5A full face mask. I was previously using an airfit P10 which was extremely comfortable however I began mouth breathing and I definitely felt more refreshed after beginning use of the full face. Im posting a screen shot of last night and my AHI's are climbing a bit lately just wondering if there are any obvious issues on the chart, thank you.

I would recommend raising your minimum pressure to 10 cm. You spend most of the night over 10. Your pressure starts out at 8, then jumps to over ten and only comes down to less than ten for a couple short periods of time.

Ok great thank you I'll adjust that now.
best wishes :D
The interesting think I found changing from pillows P10 to the resmed full face is that
the pressure registered higher .

the problem is with the forums jinky software. this keeps happening and there is nothing we can do about it, except ask people to delete their older stuff, which no one does.

an alternative is to post oscar charts on an image posting site and then link them here. imgur.com is a good choice as it's free and fairly easy to use.

good luck!

Nothing to do with software, it's because of the absentee landlords.

They need to do one or more of the following:
  • Delete a lot of the old forum attachments or increase attachment quotas
  • remove the ability to use attachments if theyre not going to fix it.
  • Take a more active roll in the Administration of this forum (this could help Pugsy out as well)
  • Increase Pugsy from a moderator to an administrator, or add some administrative privileges to her account
  • Add other moderators
I appreciate the fact that CPAP.com provides these forums, but this issue has gone on for a long time, and should be resolved with an administrative fix.

true. and i agree with your points save for pugsy being "bumped" to admin. lord know she's got enough to do as it is now.

Of course, it's implied that Pugsy becoming an Admin would only be with her blessings. That part is based on her occasional comment that there are things she doesn't have access to with moderator privileges and needs Administrative.

There are some things that come with admin powers that I really don't want to have those responsibilities. Access to stuff that I really don't want. Not so much because of the "work" aspect but just from a "I don't want to go there" point.
Carolyn and I talked about this way back when we first did the moderator thing.
I do not have any idea if there is some way to offer limited admin powers so that I could clean out the attachment storage without having access to other potentially sensitive information.

What would be nice (and I have no idea if it is even possible) is if attachments came with a time limit and then they would automatically come off the storage. Like any attachment over a year old just would automatically get deleted. There's tons of them out there that are serving no useful purpose after that much time.

It's been a while since I notified Carolyn about the problem. I quit notifying because I got no response at all. Crickets.
I have to just shrug my shoulders and move on. We got by for years and years and years without the ability to do attachments and we can do it again. It is what it is folks.

To the OP: certainly try raising your minimum, as has been suggested. But I think you'll get the most help with hypopneas and flow limitations by increasing your EPR to 3.

In general you are doing very well. Are you feeling rested during the day?

Thank you All
very much appreciated.
Increasing the min from 8 to 10 has definitely improved how I feel in the morning.
I will increase the EPR to 3 now.
