Sadly, MyAir is like so many other apps--its purpose is to serve the vendor--NOT the customer.
My phone is so clean (and fast) without multiple "crap apps".

The Airsense 10 does not use wifi, (when did you put in your WiFi passcode?). They use a *cellular modem* to send data to ResMed.wunky wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:08 pmI have the same issue my ResMed Airsense 10 ELITE normaly transmits data to my PC via a Wi-Fi connection ...
How does the built-in wireless connectivity in the AirSense™ 10 and AirCurveTM 10 devices work?
A. These devices feature built-in wireless connectivity* to transfer data automatically to AirView™ ̶ ResMed's new cloud-based patient management system for healthcare providers.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 has stopped transmitting. Any Advice?
Mine hasn't uploaded data for the past 3 or 4 nights. I contacted my DME supplier and was told that it has something to do with switching to 5G or some such. She said that if I don't have 5G access at this location, it won't make the connection. That doesn't sound right to me but that's approximately what she said. She also said to take the machine to the office or somewhere else where I know there's 5G service, turn on the machine and see if that fixes it. If so, take it back home and see if it is then able to upload data from home. I'm retired, don't really have a clue what she was taking about and have no idea how to find someplace that has a 5G tower nearby that would be willing for me to come in and plug in my machine. Frustration doesn't begin to explain how I feel about this nonsense. The ReMed website offers no clues or suggestions.
If I'm ever able to get things working again, I'll post the process here.

Which is why nobody should ever take anything that their DME tells them as being correct unless independently verified, because that is blatantly incorrect.OwlCreekObserver wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 7:20 pmMine hasn't uploaded data for the past 3 or 4 nights. The only thing that will "get things working again" is replacing the modem board with a cell modem unit that does not rely on 3g (yes, THREE), because 3g service is being discontinued across the country.OwlCreekObserver wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 7:20 pmIf I'm ever able to get things working again, I'll post the process here.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 has stopped transmitting. Any Advice?
Your device uploads data to Resmed via the cellular phone network. These networks go in "generations", each one newer and faster than the previous. As new generations (eg 5G) come on line, older ones (3G) are retired - ie turned off by the phone company. There have been a LOT of posts from people whose 3G connections have disappeared recently as the 3G network is retired.OwlCreekObserver wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 7:20 pmMine hasn't uploaded data for the past 3 or 4 nights. This is absolutely wrong - she doesn't know what she's talking about. The modem in your machine is designed for a particular generation network (most likely 3G) and can not connect to a later generation like 5GShe said that if I don't have 5G access at this location, it won't make the connection. Effectively, your machine can no longer communicate with the outside world by phone. But the good news is there is a slot to take an SD card. With the card installed the data is saved and can be interrogated using Oscar or SleepHQ. These will give you far better information than MyAir ever did.

And Oscar's avaiilable from the second Stickie on the main page here... you can post the very comprehensive results in your own new thread (please) for help with interpretation and advice.

Have you considered looking on the LCD screen for this info?
The info in those apps comes from the cpap and is avail right there on the screen.

Hi Ya'll,
I work for a small DME company (don't hate me), i also am soon starting cpap therapy myself too. A patient of mine had this issue and I contacted Resmed their response is at the end of this. But you can check if your device is affected by looking on the bottom or back at the FCC label ( it has an antenna icon and 1 or 2 stings of numbers) if you see CDMA in this area your device will be affected when the cell companies shutdown the old network. If you see 4g you're good to go.
The good news is the chances are if your CPAP is not connecting then it may be over 5 years old, and most insurance companies will pay for a new cpap once every 5 years.
The link below shows the dates the networks are shutting down (at least the most current i could find):
https://www.zdnet.com/home-and-office/n ... -have-one/
Resmed's Response:
Thank you for contacting ResMed.
The data connectivity issue you are experiencing with Air10 devices may be related to the recent telecommunication companies’ decision to shut down their CDMA networks in your area. As a result, ResMed cannot guarantee wireless connectivity on devices using CDMA networks.
It is important to note that the Air10 flow generators using CDMA wireless technology will continue to deliver therapy as intended, and their performance will not be affected by the data connectivity issue. Therefore, your patients will continue to receive the full therapeutic benefit of their devices.
Similarly, the data on all Air10 devices will still be available through SD card technology. It is our expectation that this capability will address the needs of the vast majority of your patients. For simplified instructions on how your patients can download and email their data from the SD card, please visit ResMed.com/sdcardfaq.
Please contact your ResMed sales representative if you have additional questions or concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience arising from the decision by the telecommunication companies.
Thank you,
ResMed Customer Care

I have same issue AS10, notice it happens mainly after high winds, which is not often. All I do is remove cord a few minutes/reinsert, wait approx 5 mintues, transmits data to Myair to view on computer.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 has stopped transmitting. Any Advice?
I have a problem transmitting my blood sugar results with my Livongo meter. The problem is Livongo uses ATT cell service which does not work in my area. Even the ATT supervisor that lives in my neighborhood had to get a Verizon phone. Livongo's fix is that I bring my meter to an area with ATT service. Luckily that is only about 4 miles from home at the local Walmart. I don't care if Livongo gets the information transmitted other than I get free testing supplies if they can confirm I am using the meter. My meter is very portable so it's not a problem but having to bring a CPAP somewhere and find an electric outlet would be a bit much.

Could CMDA being phased out be why some CPAPs quit transmitting? Mine has too and I can't figurre out why.

Yes.
If so, is there a work-around?
