Thanks!!
i just realized you have two posts going at the same time. moving forward, please stay in one thread. makes it easier to keep track of what your story is and what has been suggested.
ok that makes sense...I thought since the question was different it made sense to make two different post...I don't do this sort of message board stuff very often...last time was probably in the 90s when they were the only game in town

I'm hoping that I can switch it out when they get the new models in stock,
There is a way to get what you want and that is to have your doc write on the prescription the specific make and model of the cpap you want along with the words No substitutions.
I will have access to a
New in the box unused Airsense Autoset 11 with a heated hose and humidifier if you are interested PM me your info.
Thank you gumby, Ill let you know!!

No they didn't unfortunately.
It's not all that common unless one knows who they are dealing with like Apria or Lincare.

I did this once with Lincare. Unfortunately they sent it back to my doc 4x debating the wording saying it didn't say this or that. By the fifth week I went and got what I wanted from Apria of ALL places. But by then I knew not to give Apria a credit card for any reason and I did tell them that Lincare was working it but I would take from whoever came thru first. Apria did in 1 week, ha.
Lincare called back by week 8 to tell me they had it - too bad. I did get my supplies from them since they had all the paperwork they needed.

Of course it makes sense to create an new subject when the question is different.

stay in one thread. makes it easier to keep track of what your story is and what has been suggested.
It makes sense to stick to one thread when the issue is the same.
For example, insurance questions are not the same as therapy questions.
And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
