After importing my sleep data from my SD Card on Monday night, I figured I lost all of my data for that night...
This morning I imported my CPAP data from last night, and lo and behold, there was some data imported from the night before... Not a lot of data..a lot of the important and relevant data was missing...but the fact that some of the data was saved somewhere and made its way to the SD card is fascinating to me.
My total AHI and the AHI category breakdown was available, as was my total usage time and the start/stop times of each of my sleep "sessions" from taking my CPAP mask on and off throughout the night...
All of the other data was missing including pressure and leak data, etc...
I am sure this is not new news to this community... But it surprised me... I wonder how many days of this limited data is stored and importable...

For ResMed's, the summary and compliance data is kept in memory of the machine and doesn't require an SD Card to retain. Upon inserting the SD Card into device it will be written.
The detail data (think graphs) needs the SD Card present during the session. If it's not no detail data and no way to get it.

Unsure exactly but at least a years worth of summary data is stored on the machine's internal memory.
