Airsense 11 access to usage graphs
Hi guys,
helping my elderly mom out in assisted living, got her the air sense 11 from cpap dot com
Resmed said since we got it from the internet they will not let the doctor's link to the doctor's view into the reports
Cpap dot com never called be back to explain why.
myair works and I can see the "scores" remotely and only updates randomly (or maybe it is auto shut off if my mom takes off mask) then I think it is auto turning back on because some nights I will get two reports
I have been seeing end users showing great graphs from Airsense 11
how do I get the Graphs you are showing?
all I have access to is the score in the app
thanks
Keith

So is there no way for her Doc to see it from the resmed cloud?
I will check out the Sd card route, just wanted to get the doc to see things remotely too from the resmed cloud

Re: Airsense 11 access to usage graphs
No, unfortunately the only way to see what the doctors can see remotely is with the doctor's version of MyAir which is called AirView I think.
I do not know what all is involved for doctors to access the cloud version of MyAir.
I would assume the doctor has to have an account with ResMed and then access to the serial number of the machine.
I don't know why ResMed doesn't want him to have an account.
https://www.resmed.com/en-us/healthcare ... t/airview/
You can use OSCAR and email the doctor a copy of the detailed report...or whatever you have access to in OSCAR that the doctor would want.

From the "clinician's menu," change "essentials" to PLUS.
Then you can read much subsequently collected info directly on the screen.
(Just not old info--bummer.)
I have easily captured images of this on my phone to show my doctor.
Oscar, on the other hand, will show enough to blow his mind.
It's fun to make your doctor totally "geek out."

Re: Airsense 11 access to usage graphs
Gandalf,
Sorry for long (disjointed?) reply! I’m sleep deprived right now (not CPAP related), and I’m not firing on all burners and tend to ramble. I hope this makes sense!
I have never found any documentation to confirm this, but I have been told the following by two different people who work at different doctor’s offices:
- There is a cost to use/access AirView. This cost is usually paid by your DME, so that they can confirm compliance and/or change settings.
- DME’s allow doctor’s access to AirView subscriptions in order to “curry favor” -- get referrals.
- Since online DME’s are usually self-pay, compliance / managing settings (or establishing relationships with local doctors) aren’t an issue and they don’t pay for AirView.
If true, it does explain why ResMed won’t link your mother’s machine to her doctor.
I personally think this is a good reason to buy online / out-of-pocket. I don’t want somebody changing my settings remotely.
It’s been my experience that even when a doctor has access to AirView, they don’t drill down, but just look at the AHI and usage. One option is to generate a one page “sleep report” from MyAir with that info and send the pdf to your doctor.
If your doctor wants to see/examine the data, more than static reports (you may have found a good one!!!!), there are a couple of options:
- Take your laptop with OSCAR (or SD card) into office.
- sleephq dot com. (wasn’t sure what the rules were concerning posting links)
While I am NOT endorsing, sleephq allows you to upload your data to the cloud, and you can send links to your doctor, so they can view/examine your detailed data.
The other thing I noted was you getting two reports in a night. Is it possible the timezone is off? If it’s set incorrectly, and your mom sleeps past noon (by the AS-11 internal clock), that would generate a separate report. The times should show up in OSCAR.
Finally to wrap up, please post examples of OSCAR daily reports. The people here are GREAT!!!! And are extremely helpful in optimizing settings.
Good luck!

4GB is fine. It has to be 32GB or less.gandalfnet wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 10:43 amAwesome thanks for all the replies,

How is it formatted? Is it a 128 GB partition or less?

Don’t really know. I just took it out of the box and pop it in the machine.

Re: Airsense 11 access to usage graphs
My thought is that the AS11 formats the 128GB into 4 32GB partitions, possibly only 1 32GB partition. Next time you put it into your computer see what size the partition is and we'll now for sure.

Re: Airsense 11 access to usage graphs
Nope. It is formatted as Fat32 and one partition of 128GB.
