Interesting. Are you also going across VLANs?
Mine would discovery it, but wouldn't transfer any data.

No, I'm not using a VLAN.southerndoc wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 4:24 pmInteresting. Are you also going across VLANs?

I'm really unsure why you are insisting on using jumbo packets in the first place.
- All though they certainly can result in less time fragmenting packets and less packet overhead. There really is little to be gained on a local home network.
- You only derive benefit from local traffic
- You are already experiencing incompatibilities and likely to experience more
- You [may] lose the ability to use your FlashAir, something you find very useful and convenient. You'll spend more time walking the SD Card back and forth from your device to computer than you will derive from your network devices saving a microsecond here and there for some of your traffic.

Re: What SD card format works in the Resmed Airsense 11?
The only issue I have is with the FlashAir, and I can easily just start using a regular SD card (already ordered one).
I get 9.8-9.9G with jumbo frames vs 9.3-9.4G without. Although it seems like miniscule amounts, it does make a slight difference when my wife is pulling up large photo libraries from our NAS.
I do not need jumbo frames for my 1G WAN connection. It's only to connect to the NAS and to optimize its connection.

BTW, even if I wanted to continue using FlashPAP, I don't think it supports the AirSense 11.

You should be able to use FlashAir directly without FlashPAP.
FlashAir is just a 2.4G WiFi Access Point with a WebDAV server and the shared storage being the SD card.

This post shows how to config it for direct access

I can access it directly, but FlashPAP does make it a lot easier to scan for new data and copy that data to my computer.

Maybe it is different on a Mac / Linux ... Been thinking of trying it on my raspberry ...
On Windows, OSCAR scans the mounted directory and copies the data automatically ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's the same principle for Mac. Mount the FlashAir drive and copy the data.GrumpyHere wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 7:53 amMaybe it is different on a Mac / Linux ... Been thinking of trying it on my raspberry ...
There is a script that takes the place of FlashPAP from when Apple broke Java:
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/FlashAir
After the initial copy from FlashAir to your HDD/NAS, it will only copy data that has changed. All native Mac utilities, no Java.

Apple didn't break Java, they broke the Java Launch Agent.
Java still works fine.
I use Sleep Master (written in Java) to copy my data. With a broken launch agent, I can't run it from the desktop, I have to go to terminal and launch manually.
java -jar Sleep_Master.jar

Noted. I should have phrased that differently.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 10:31 am

Sadly, the author of Sleep Master passed away in June 2020.

I'll have to take a look at it. FlashPAP has been working on macOS 12.2.1.Jeff8356 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 10:16 amIt's the same principle for Mac. Re: What SD card format works in the Resmed Airsense 11?
I was told our hosts do not have the right card due to supply chain but to get a FAT 32 SD card. Ordered it on line via Amazon. It is so micro mini it is about the size of my little finger's nail. I am worried to try inserting it as it could get lost or something. I suspect I got the wrong one. Can someone please tell me what I should be looking for on line?
I have the Airsense 11 now. Want to use Oscar.
Changed from the S9.
Tried that chip in machine as Host said it would work but machine did not like it.
Called Resmed. They said to get a 'Resmed S9 card' but that seems to be like a unicorn. THey said to use their on-line ap but I suspect Oscar is waaay better.
Can someone advise me what I can actually get (Brand and what the label should say) and perhaps where it can be found (on line by preference)? THANK YOU.
SO DISCOURAGED.

Re: What SD card format works in the Resmed Airsense 11?
yubaz,
any SD card 32GB or less will work. They come pre-formatted as FAT32.
It sounds like you purchased a Micro SD card instead. That would require an adapter to go from Micro SD to SD card.
Don't worry about an official "ResMed" SD card. They are just re-branded SD cards from one of the major SD card manufacturers.

Re: What SD card format works in the Resmed Airsense 11?
I was able to set up the rsync script. Works pretty well. I think I need to delete some files. It loads about 8500 and goes back several years. I'm assuming I can just delete the data folders with dates?
It doesn't copy them, but it does take a while indexing them.
EDIT: This seems to work with jumbo frames enabled. Thank you for the suggestion!

I don't know what effect deleting the folders would have with your machine or with OSCAR, so I would say to leave well enough alone.southerndoc wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 8:58 amI was able to set up the rsync script. It does index the files every time to check for any changes. I have about 2.5 years of data (3GB) and 10500+ files it checks. From start to finish takes about 00:01:45 (just under 2 minutes). Just enough time to grab a coffee. By the time I get back it's done and ready to import into OSCAR.
