Hi Guys:
My Eson 2 Nasal mask just arrived. While testing it out I noticed I could barely breath out with the diffuser filter on. Did not seem like a lot of CO2 was going out like it did with the full face mask. Without the diffuser tons of air was coming out.
Does anyone have this and use it with or without the diffuser filter? I know my wife would love the diffuser on but don't want to give myself too much CO2.
Thanks for any advice.
Joe.

It's your imagination. Look in the manual, it shows you the vent rate with and without the diffuser, they're very similar.SJ-Paddler wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 4:53 pmMy Eson 2 Nasal mask just arrived. While testing it out I noticed I could barely breath out with the diffuser filter on.

Just because it doesn't feel so forceful doesn't mean that it isn't effective.
It won't cause a problem with CO2 buildup... unless you let it get in your head and cause needless worry.
Rest assured that all masks with any sort of diffusers have been tested thoroughly to make sure that the venting is enough to do the job and not be a danger to anyone.
You should see the diffuser on the N30 I have been trying...it looks like a solid piece of something and feels the same but after nearly 6 weeks using it...I am still here and haven't had problem one.
