Linking ResMed to PC

Post by CPAP2017 » Sat Dec 25, 2021 3:31 pm

I stumbled upon a setting for "other devices" in my PC. I was surprised to see the ResMed Airsense 11 as being "seen" so I clicked on it and it now shows the ResMed paired to my PC. I'm hoping that means I can download the SD card data into Oscar without having to carry the SD card back and forth anymore. Has anyone been able to do this? I've clicked around without any luck, and the user settings on the ResMed don't lead me to it. Maybe have to be in DME-provider mode?

I'm guessing that you're using either the Air 11 or Air Mini as they're the only bluetooth enabled ResMeds.

Although your PC can pair with your ResMed, I doubt you'll ever transfer any data. They both use bluetooth and the bluetooth protocol is designed to pair with other bluetooth devices, even if they don't have a common application.

Your PC doesn't have the required software to initiate and download the data from your CPAP, all it has is bluetooth, the underlying connection software. And no, there is no menu option or DME method to enable data transfer between your PC and Air 11/Mini.

Okay, thanks! Yes, I have the 11. This would also explain why ios won't work with my PC wirelessly even thought it also shows paired.
