It doesn't matter WHO tries it besides YOU. Everyone's face is different, so why don't you just find a way to try it out yourself.

Did you try the Fitlife total face mask?
That mask is not at all popular. If you want to try it, consider buying return insurance.

Actually we don't have to buy return insurance anymore on any mask from cpap.com.
All the masks come with free 30 day return insurance now.
Now when we did have to buy the return insurance it was quite pricey on the FitLife which usually indicated a high rate of returns. If I remember right the cost was around 50 bucks...very high.

I don't remember when cpap.com went to the "every mask has free return insurance" as they didn't advertise the change (at least that I saw) but it's been a couple of years I think.

Anyone wanting to possibly try a mask that might think they will be needing to return it....need to read the requirements very closely. The 30 day window is from the time the machine gets shipped outbound to the time they get physical possession of it when returned.
It's not 30 days in your home and then send it back.

ChicagoGranny: You are right, it's not a very popular mask.

Pugsy: Thanks for the CPAP.COM information. Interestingly, in the past month I bought the Fisher and Playkel Flexifit HC432 from CPAP.COM. I called and requested to return the mask. They credited my account and said to not return the mask "because of Covid". I'm unsure if it's a new policy or what.

Someone needs to remind them that Covid doesn't last more than a couple of mins (if that) on surfaces.

That's probably a new policy because of Covid. I wasn't aware of that since it has been a while since I got a mask from them.
Probably need to make the phone call within the 30 day window though.
Always best to check with them directly. I had totally forgot about what Covid has done for the return of anything now.

FWIW....I very briefly tried the FitLife some years back. Someone gave me one just to try.
I couldn't get it to keep sealed for longer than 15 seconds much less sleep with it.
There is a reason it isn't very popular. The people who have success with this mask...I bow down in awe in front of them. I don't see how they do it.

Doesn't matter when it comes to medical products. Especially something that someone has breathed on. People get real nervous about everything.

Now I don't know what cpap.com did with the masks that were returned (pre covid) but if they physically went back to the manufacturer to get credit for the returned mask that all mask manufacturers offer...maybe the mask manufacturers no longer want them back either.

You know back when we had the auction that cpap.com offered the returned masks got offered up on the auction but that got killed off years ago. So probably no place wants used cpap masks now because of covid fears....real or imagined...doesn't matter.

It's too bad though...lots of wasted products that could be easily sterilized likely going to the landfill. Would probably even be difficult to donate them somewhere right now.
Just think about all the germophobes out there even before Covid and what they worried about...think about the people so worried about getting used anything and the germs on anything....even before Covid.
Post Covid...they are likely scared crapless.
