My issue is now that I’m sleeping better why don’t I feel refreshed during the day usually around noon time I’m junk and looking for a nap which I can’t do . Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated . Thank You
Re: Daytime sleepiness
Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?
Any other health issues going on?
Maybe you need more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep????? I know I need about 7 to stand any chance of feeling decent.

Mayo Clinic:
Adults 7 or more hours a night
In addition to age, other factors can affect how many hours of sleep you need. For example:
Sleep quality. If your sleep is frequently interrupted, you're not getting quality sleep. The quality of your sleep is just as important as the quantity.
Previous sleep deprivation. If you're sleep deprived, the amount of sleep you need increases.
Aging. Older adults need about the same amount of sleep as younger adults. As you get older, however, your sleeping patterns might change. Older adults tend to sleep more lightly, take longer to start sleeping and sleep for shorter time spans than do younger adults. Older adults also tend to wake up multiple times during the night.

Re: Daytime sleepiness
Yes doctor has me on clonazepam . Had blood work done all looks good . I usually go to bed 8pm and am up for for work at 4 am . Weekends I just can’t seem to sleep more than 5-6 hrs I wake up and just take my mask off . I was reading about something called Excessive Daytime sleepiness cause by sleep apnea . Never really have more than 2 events in the course of the night
Re: Daytime sleepiness
Google the side effects for clonazepam and look at multiple sources/hits.
Excessive sleepiness is a common side effect.

Don't stop taking it cold turkey without discussing it with your doctor.
We don't know why you are taking it or how much you are taking or what kind of withdrawal effects you might have.
Have a chat with your doctor.

0.5 MG was taking it for anxiety and I don’t feel like I need it anymore .
Re: Daytime sleepiness
Still...be careful...a lot depends on how long you have been taking it and how often.
Withdrawal can be brutal for some people. Read up on it.

Re: Daytime sleepiness
Maybe it's just my unique experience, but it seems like the daytime sleepiness goes away when I get my leaks under good control. It's as if the therapy is more effective when time over leak redline is a very small percentage of the night. At least I FEEL better the next day and have less need for naps. Maybe this doesn't pass clinical muster, but it works for me!
