Hi, I am using a Resmed S9 Autoset with a heated tube Climateline hose.I am residing in tropical and humid Malaysia. I set the temperature at 81F but still have severe dry mouth issues. I don't think I am that much of a mouth breather. I thinking of trying to set the temperature and humidity independently. But when I am hooked to the climatecontrol line, I cannot get to the manual mode menu.
I think the machine is automatically set to the auto mode.
How do I reprogramme to manual mode.
THANKS

The easiest way is to turn the hose around so the air goes the opposite direction.
Then the electrical contacts for the climateline are not engaged,
and manual is the default.
There is another way, but it's been too long fror my foggy, froggy brain.

The humidifier is to prevent the nasal passages from drying. It is not effective at preventing the mouth from drying. Even five minutes of mouth breathing can cause a very dry mouth.
In your climate, do you need a humidifier at all? I live in a dryer, colder climate and don't use a humidifier - not even in the winter.
Too much humidity can cause a bit of nasal congestion which could worsen mouth breathing.
