I'm looking to buy the F30i online and it asks if I want to add the headgear. Doesn't it come with the headgear?

they are selling this without requiring a prescription. if they sold the mask complete, they'd have to have one.

I wasn't sure if I could mention the site. I'm looking on cheapcpapsupplies.com. They picture the whole headgear so I was confused why it would be listed as an add-on.

Normally, when it is listed as a "mask" it is a complete mask including the head gear. If it is listed as a "mask kit" it does not include the head gear. Mask kits can legally be sold without a prescription since they are not a complete mask.

I ended up calling and found out it does not include the headgear.

It was confusing as the product page pictures it with headgear.

I just looked at their web site, and in the description they say it is only the frame and cushion, but gives the option of buying the head gear. This way, they are selling you "mask parts" which do not require a prescription. As stated previously, complete mask assemblies require a prescription. This is how they get around the prescription requirement.
