a ResMed and like that it only uses one filter which is supposed to be changed every 30 days.
No, the clinical manual *clearly* states "every
six months or more often if needed".
Uhhhh…what?
durrrr
There truly is nothing quite like people that argue about things they don't know anything about.

Believe what you want, something that's influenced by the mythical "replacement 'schedule'", or what Resmed tells the clinicians.
Your choice.

Actually I think that "when dirty" makes more sense regardless of how long it has been...but that's just me.
Yes, it makes no sense to change filters "just because", any more than it makes sense to leave a dust packed filter there because it hasn't been six (or one) months yet.

Excuse me?
Did you actually have to go look that up in order to have the last word, pal?
I don’t have that model, I have a AirSense 10 AutoSet and I SHOWED YOU the manual page that clearly states every 30 days.

Well...here's the clinical manual for the AirSense 10 AutoSet.
https://www.respshop.com/manuals/ResMed ... %20her.pdf
Page 21....it clearly states every 6 months sooner if dirty.
You probably have the user manual....so they apparently have different recommendations in different manuals.
Big surprise there...they want you to buy more filters.
The clinical manual is the one they give doctors and DMEs...and it says on the front of it...."remove before giving machine to patient".

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

You're excused.
You were the one that "went and looked something up, in order to be wrong.
Surprise...the pro (clinical) manuals for both the airsense and aircurve say the same the same, which makes sense given the only differences in the machines are the
programming, and the color of the covers.
So, as Pugsy said.
mebbe learn something next time.
