the reason I posted just the columns was more to show basic numbers and not needing advice/explanation on the actual data. I've been feeling horrible ever since upping from 4. Even just 4.4 was causing me to feel "off". Was I feeling amazing with just four? No. But I did notice that while the mask is a pain in the ass to deal with those first two nights, I did go out and grocery shop plus hang out with family which I've been too anxious and miserable to do. I've had my settings upped for four nights so I'd rather just go to original. The AHI was climbing up from .10 to 90 to 1.82 on the last night of changing my settings. My lungs felt awful in the middle of the night on 6 as well. I noticed I was dreaming a ton those first two nights as well and ever since changing the numbers, I've not dreamt or felt like I've really been sleeping. So not about the numbers, it was more me confirming to myself as to why I could be feeling badly.zonker wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 6:42 pmgor-ram it! i'm tired of thinking i've replied to something only to find out i apparently didn't hit submit.snowgolum wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 12:08 pm

grrrrr.....
short answer; i'm glad your ahi is down. this is why it's important to have actual data.
however, there is more to ahi than just getting low numbers. it's more important that you feel good at whatever ahi you have.
and you may want to start cultivating the habit of posting your charts just the way i advised earlier. no matter what your ahi, you'll need to keep track of events.
meanwhile, please stay at your current settings for another 2-3 nights, just to make sure it sticks. don't be surprised if you don't get the same numbers again.
good luck!!

Re: new to everything
mask leakage is awful and creating the centrals. It's like the silicone wore down in a matter of a few nights. I'm sending the masks I got back and ordered a new one. Hoping it's the last time I'll have to do this.

Re: new to everything
Well it turns out I have a faulty machine. So no amount of masks or checking OSCAR data/fixing settings would have fixed it.
Just glad to know it wasn't me messing up stuff. The centrals were being created because my machine has been jumping to max pressures and staying there for hours so I basically was having issues breathing on the machine more so than off of it. I should be getting a new machine soon and I got some nasal pillows that a lot of people suggested.
No wonder those centrals were confusing. The other night I had a dream that someone was screaming for me to wake up; I woke up and I could not get a breath in at all. I checked the machine and the max was on 18 consistently. My max pressure is set to 14. The lofta therapy rep called me and said my EPR was off on their side (which it wasn't on my machine) and the ramp kept going on and off. Sent it in and diagnostics said it's messed up.
Who knows how I'll feel when I finally get treatment lol

Re: new to everything
well, for pity's sake! who woulda thought it?
sucks that you had to go through this.
but it's great that you'll be able to start over!
you know, usually i say you should stay in this thread, but what would be the point?

get your new machine and if you have trouble, start a new thread.
good luck!
