Re: When/if to repeat a sleep test
Tigerlily, it'd be helpful to see a few recent charts. Before you post them, could you hide the pie graph? I think you'll find the setting in File ... Preferences ... Appearance. The reason for hiding it is that it elbows out some information in the left panel that could be useful.
Could you also go into Overview and get three graphs up at the top, then take a screenshot to post:
AHI
Usage
Pressure.
I don't know how long ago you started feeling worse, but ideally you could pick a time span that showed some better times and then the worse times.

Ok, I will do those changes. I didn’t know how to hide the pie graph.
It’s really hard to say when I started feeling tired, it’s been so long.

Nevermind, I found how to do it, it's under "view" then uncheck the box.

Re: When/if to repeat a sleep test
Sorry everyone that I deleted some photos from the website. I am now doing screenshots as attachments and find that much easier and faster. Because a lot of my old charts are deleted, here are 3 days from beginning of this month when I was on cpap 11.5 vs. apap 11.5-17, any and all feedback is welcome. I'm not too sure how to interpret everything, or how to know what to change. I've had it 11.5-17 for a couple of weeks at least. I haven't really seen it go above 14, so I think I will change from 12 min - 15 max. Any input on that is helpful....how can I get the best possible results? If you all want more days, let me know please. Thanks! FYI - the large leaks and time without my mask are because the short hose comes undone from the main hose pretty easily if I move suddenly or aggressively. I wear the tap pap, so my mask stays on, but I'm not connected. I would love to be able to fix that problem.

Re: When/if to repeat a sleep test
Tigerlily, thanks for posting that series of charts, plus the Summary page. There's a lot of variation in your results from one night to the next, and given the conservative PR algorithm, your actual pressure barely budges from your minimum even when you give it some headroom.
I think you're right that an experiment raising the minimum to 12 would be a good one to try. That might cut back on the OAs, Hs, and FLs. Conceivably it could increase CAs, but you won't know until you try it. And some of the CAs may just reflect the irregular patterns of breathing that can happen during full or partial wake-ups. I'd recommend sticking with the new setting for a week before trying to evaluate it.
Meanwhile, are there other factors that might be contributing to your feeling of daytime tiredness? Medications? Changes in exercise or work habits? Changes in your sleep set-up (mattress, light, pillow, temperature)? Have you had a general check-up at all recently? (Hard during COVID!)

Actually, I really, really think I might have narcolepsy! I came to that conclusion just yesterday. I am going to talk to my Dr. about it in 2 weeks when I see him. Maybe insurance will cover a sleep study for that, I hope! No medications besides thyroid med, we just decreased it...no changes in exercise or work, no changes in sleep atmosphere. Yep, had check-ups with a lot of bloodwork. Nothing too out of the norm. A little low on my iron (I supplement daily otherwise I get too iron deficient) so that is probably contributing. But....I'm really leaning towards narcolepsy.

Why do you think you have narcolepsy?

Re: When/if to repeat a sleep test
There's a little bit of improvement with your new minimum. You could try venturing to 12.5 to see how it goes.
Like Julie, I'm wondering why you think you have narcolepsy. But whatever the reason, it'll be good to discuss it with your doctor.
