Lincare is going to send me to a behavioral health hodpital

Hi people. I'm an oldie to cpap, 11 yearsbut new, as far as I can remember to this forum. Back story, I became a widow for the second time in September 2020. I was financially strapped until Social security got straightened out so I was 3 months late paying my lincare bill, but it was paid in early January. A gentleman called a week later asking if I needed supplies. Yes sir, I need everything.4 phone calls later, ,( one guy sounded like he was in the bathtub, I could hear water splashing) , 3 months later and no supplies. I called this morning, a nice gentleman tried to tell me I needed a referral, which I have, once he understood that he found out my supplies had been sent to someone in Maryville, Il. He put me on hold, I waited, the phone rang and someone else picked it up. So I had to explain things to her. She said she'd transfer me to someone who could help, and hung up on me. By this time I've lost it, but I called lincare again and pressed the number that said they resolved problems. She tried the referral thing again. I'm bipolar and am very easily agitated , I'd had enough and lost it on her. I settled down, apologized for my temper fit, she said she'd get back to me. The only reason I use Lincare is I use the original full face Quattro and they send me a new liner every month, at least they have. I'm using one that's 3 months old and will order one from Amazon if this doesn't get settled soon. So, how was your day? ( If you're in Maryville, I want my supplies!)

Find a different supplier.
What you experienced is SOP for Lin(don't)care.
Medicare has other suppliers . . .

I have an appointment with my nurse tomorrow, I'm going to ask about that. My other suppliers only sent new masks every 6 months, I couldn't get liners so I've been putting up with their crap. I've had enough.

I used the Quattro for over 8 years and my cushions lasted me 8-10 months. I used to boil them at about 5-6 months and they came out like brand new.

My best day ever was when I lost my DME coverage for CPAP and I don't have to deal with Crapria anymore. I buy what I want, when I want from Amazon or our hosts at cpap.com and I don't have to argue, put up with billing errors, I get what I order. It's worth the out of pocket money--I use things way longer than any "replacement schedule" and have no issues. I think I save a lot of money in the long run, but even if not, it's worth not having the aggravation.

I ordered a liner from Amazon an hour ago, it will be there tomorrow. 17 dollars. I'm going to have to look at my bill but I think it's not much more than my co pay. And I'm calling BCBS, I received a bill a month ago, the supplies were paid for. Sounds like insurance fraud to me.

You mentioned Social Security--if Medicare is involved, any funny business is
reportable, considered criminal, and could result in heavy fines for the perpetrators.
Maybe even jail time.
