airsense 10 time to write/upload data
airsense 10 time to write/upload data
Just got an airsense 10, and noticed it's taking quite some time to write data to the sdcard, as well as upload to myair. This morning I waited until it was done with it's cooldown cycle to pull the sdcard, but it still doesn't have the data from last night. I've been coming back in the afternoons to pull it and it's there by then. Does it usually take an hour or so for the data to be written to the card?

Re: airsense 10 time to write/upload data
I'm not sure, but since daily data is captured from noon to noon, the system may wait until after 12 to be sure it is getting the entire days data. I never look at mine on a daily basis...I just look at nightly AHI when I get up. Every week or two I download my data to Oscar.

Re: airsense 10 time to write/upload data
The data is written to the SD Card at the end of a session, there isn't a (measurable) delay.
Why do you think it's not immediately writing to the SD CARD.
With MyAir, there is a day delay upon first signing up, then about an hour after the session end my data shows up.

Yeah as others have said. I've not seen ac delay in the card being written to. Usually an hour after I shut the machine off the data is in my air

Re: airsense 10 time to write/upload data
I have never had any delay in the machine writing to the SD card.
As to reporting to MyAir...never used it so don't know.
The noon reporting thing for LCD sleep report....doesn't really apply to the AirSense/AirCurve models...only to older models.
I checked last night on my AirCurve sleep report from the prior night and the report was still available at 8PM.
While the machine might start a new session at noon it doesn't create the 0.0 usage that we saw after 12 PM with the S9 and older model machines.
12 Noon really isn't any factor with the AirSense 10 machines in terms of showing sleep report or writing to the SD card or transmitting data.

This is not normal. The data should be on the SD card within 5 minutes at the most.
Something weird is going on.

Re: airsense 10 time to write/upload data
There is a bug in OSCAR; if the season end time is later than the computer time, the data will NOT get imported.
The work around is to ensure the time on the ResMed is aligned with your computer, or wait an hour, if there is an hour difference because of DST changes.
This bug is being addressed in future version.

Ahhhh. I forgot about that little bug.....But how does the session end time be later than the computer time....if the clock is set correctly? I am now wondering if the OP in this thread maybe has the date on the calendar not set correctly?????
And even if the clock on the machine is an hour off because of DST....wouldn't all we need to do is wait an hour to download? We shouldn't need to wait any longer should we?
I haven't tested things in a long time though. I am doing good to download once in 3 months and I have no idea what my machine clock is set to. I will try to remember to check it out later and then if the clock is off maybe try to remember to try to download first thing in the morning.
Right now I am too busy trying to figure out if I need to take a hit out on you guys in Canada for not blocking this shit from coming down here and messing with my life so much.

We are under a threat for rolling power outages where we live and when hubby got up this morning it was -13 F. We just don't see this kind of cold down where I live which is about an hour north of the Arkansas line. Certainly not for this prolonged length of time.
If my outside kitties don't have the heat lamp on...it's dangerous for them outside and to bring them inside is dangerous because of the cat from hell not being very nice.
So if something weird is going on...maybe it's the calendar and/or clock setting on the machine????? Worth checking out.
I once accidentally set my calendar date forward and didn't realize it.

To OP here....
Check your machine clock setting AND the calendar setting to make sure it is correct.

Yes, ensure the two clocks are aligned and bug won't happen otherwise wait.Pugsy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 11:54 amBut how does the session end time be later than the computer time....if the clock is set correctly? We got crapped on last night as well.
Not much of a problem for me, I'm in a Condo and don't need to shovel, we're under a pretty tight stay-at-home order because of COVID, so no need to go out.

Re: airsense 10 time to write/upload data
That's probably it. Didn't think to set the clock on the new machine, and it was 2 hours ahead with Oscar set to the correct local time. Reset it and will check in the morning.
Thanks for the help!
