After looking at the link, it seemed that patients would be expected to lie relatively flat, face up for the side table or ceiling mounted radar to work, but although stats of 94 and 80% sound good, where would they be if patients were on their sides or stomachs - unless the radar was strong enough to penetrate through their backs, which to me would raise the question of how safe it was, compared to x-rays. A camera can spot restless legs, etc., so I'm not sure radar would be needed in any case, and I wouldn't trust it to detect 'subtle' changes in breathing using their method.

ResMed discontinued its S+ sleep tracker that used radar technology. I still use mine from time to time, but the updates and support have ceased. It looks like Amazon might taking up this technology and combine it with its Alexa AI.
