Reports

Post by ztoymaker » Sat Dec 19, 2020 11:48 am

Hello all. I just got mine I use resmed airsence 10 auto. I put the SD Card in it is a 64gig. Will that hold a 30 day report or will it flush out every 14 days? Or is the 14 day thing without the card. I need a 30 day report for my CDL. Otherwise I wouldn't even have this dam thing. Thanks.

The SD card will hold years of data. More than enough to meet CDL requirements.
I have an 8 GB SD card with over 3 years of data on it. It only gets erased if you manually erase it or it finally gets full and if that happens it overwrites the oldest data files first. Last time I checked it hadn't even used 1/2 of the cards capacity.

Based on 13 months of usage on my SD Card, I'm using 135MB / month. So you're good. But be prepared to replace the card in about 40 years.

For what it's worth, when asking technical questions about your device, a good first step is to list the device you're actually using.

Ok thanks guys I'm sorry its a ResMed AirSence 10. And looking over this site I have learned more than I did from the Book and/or the fools in TX that sold it to me. LOL. Thanks again.

Nice.

Download, stick the SD Card in, because it's 64GB the device *might* reformat it to FAT32 (it's probably exFAT). This might result in only 32 GB of usable storage. If you have any trouble format it manually on your computer to FAT32.

Download OSCAR,
Post some graphs,
Update your profile,
and you're good to go.

Zonker should be along any time now to check you in.

If I recall correctly, a ResMed machine will simply ignore a 64 GB card and write no data to the card.

The easiest solution is to delete the 64GB partition on the SD card, create a new 31GB partition, and format the partition as FAT-32. On Windows, you can do that from Disk Management.

Sure, you are giving up half the space on the card but it is never going to be used anyway on a CPAP machine. Even a 4GB card will hold years of data.

My card is either 1 or 2 gb.
It came with the cpap.
I had to ask the DME to get it--but they did, gratis.
I like them.
