Runny...I looked at your humidifier..you should be able to do the same thing as we do with ours (hurricane and i). It says:
Easy to Clean
Comes with a detachable, dishwasher safe water chamber for trouble-free maintaince.
It just pulls off and you should be able to rinse daily as well.

Hey Hurricane....question...I've been using the AyrGel..nose is no longer sore but still runny and all day. Did yours resolve itself or do you still have that issue?

Hey Bookwrm,
I just started using the Ayr as wasmentioned in above post, use liberaly in nose not just nares, I can tell you today my nose was dry 90% of time, I also found out I was irragating my nose wrong with saline rinse, I will post the site that has a cool video on how to do it, I thought just spray and that was it (WRONG) I will look now and post the site.

Check this site out, and play their video, let me know what you think, really worked for me just using the rinse I had on hand, but am going to buy the pot kit.

Ed..thank you for the info..I will check it out. I wish my problem was dryness..lol..mine is the opposite. Oh well, my mom is struggling with her Swift (1 week now) and has been congested so I will pass along this info as her pharmacist recommended a saline spray before bedtime.

Mine also is or shouldn't I say runny nose irritated, and some time traces of blood, but think the saline wash, plus the AYr is really helping, in my case I know its related to cpap, that air is an irritant when the membranes get irratated they sent fluid there to heal the irritant, so thats what the AYR is doing putting up a barrier.
Hey we try, fail and try again sometimes we do it right

Thanks, Hurricane & Bookwrm63. I can do that--just empty, wash out with soapy water, and let it air dry. I was under the impression that I should also wipe down the inside surfaces. Dumb idea! I like your approach.

Let me elaborate on my humidifier. The top does not just lift off from the bottom portion, but the humidifier does come right out of the CPAP machine. I can empty it through the little hole and rinse it out, but that's it.
Thanks, Hurricane. I just read your first post about my humidifier. Sounds like manufacturer hype.

Yes Runny and that's all you need to do. No need to wipe anything else down inside...dear God, like we need another thing to worry about! lol..glad you found it will work easy for you! Take care!
