CBD Oil - Does it work for you, What have you tried?

A Close friend of mine started taking Hemp Based CBD Oil as the other is not legal in his state and has had some amazing results! I am wondering if you have found it works for you to?

He has been pain and inflammation free. His BP is down from average 160/85 to a low this am of 115/68 . His Mood is of course slightly elevated and he said it helps him sleep better. He no longer takes any big pharmaceutical drugs. I am thinking of ordering some myself but unsure the MG etc.... He takes it orally and said he also has a rub he uses.

No! I feel very little difference using: 3 inhalations of medical marijuana three times per day or Hemp CBD Tropical Cream.

We have tried three different brands and concentrations (the "mg" amount shown on the bottle) and we could not tell any difference at all. You can go through a lot of money trying CBD oil, good brands with higher concentrations, are very expensive. Also, do not be fooled by "Hemp" Oil" which is much cheaper because it contains zero CBD. Just look at Amazon, they will not sell CBD oil but sell loads of different brands of Hemp Oil.

BTW - - Many people that my wife has seen comment on CBD oil misunderstand the labeling on CBD bottles. Unlike conventional prescription and OTC meds, the "mg" amount on the CBD oil bottle is the amount of active CBD oil in the entire bottle, which is typically divided by 30 to get the amount of CBD per daily dose. Typical bottles are sized by "ml", which again is then divided by 30 to get the amount per dose. All the remaining stuff in a CBD bottle are fillers such as flavoring and whatever else the manufacturer wants to add to fill the bottle. In any case, just make sure that you understand what you are buying. For example, a bottle labeled as containing 750mg of CBD Oil actually has a dose of 25mg per day (750/30).

49er and I tried some a while back (before she died from cancer) and we tried various brands and various concentrations and the end result was
1.....we couldn't tell it was doing much of anything in terms of our sleep quality which was the main reason we tried it.
she had fragmented sleep from an unknown cause and I have fragmented sleep from pain.
2....admittedly we probably needed to increase the dosage but quickly decided that it simply was too expensive of an experiment to continually up the dosage with zero signs of relief. We were taking some fairly hefty doses and fairly expensive on a per night investment and we decided to abort the experiment because even if we did eventually find a dosage that gave us relief....we couldn't sustain it from a dollar cost per night basis. Simply not enough money in the kitty to do that.

and the highest dose I tried that gave me zero pain relief....caused my pulse to double which was uncomfortable...not unlike what happened when I went to a state where recreational real marijuana is legal and I tried it...and didn't like it either.

Now some people do have marked positive results....it's pretty much like everything else in life....comes with that big YMMV sticker.

I have been experimenting with microdosing THC and CBD. Everything is variable, and everyone responds differently. I have found one combination of an indica THC gummy plus a full-spectrum CBD oil that usually gives me a very good night's sleep. I have tried changing that formula using other CBD oil products, and it doesn't work as well. Even the combination that usually works doesn't always. I have tried using CBD oil alone with no observable effect (except a foul taste when I used a tincture.)

I've tried several CBD oils, CBD isolate, and smoking CBD flower.
All of them had an "effect" for me, mainly calming/relaxing. The isolate provided the strongest effect while smoking the flower provided the fastest effect.

Moderate amounts of THC have been observed to help with pain and inflammation at
concentrations too low to cause intoxication.
It is a shame that this mostly harmless substance is not allowed everywhere.
I suspect most opposition is financed by narcotic sources, including, but not limited to,
BIG PHARMA.

I have tried: full spectrum, broad spectrum & isolate. In gummies, oil, & capsules. The only thing it did for me was to lighten my bank account.

And, as long as it is in the shadows, no one can be confident about the potency of any of it.
--unless you can grow and process it yourself, anything could be completely counterfeit.

_ maybe too early.....started on august 13 last.....It has been looking promissing for Rls and sleep stability
_ CBD 2% THC 0,1%...... Some 7 mg daily and increasing.....no intention to Go for more than some 25 mg
