Pugsy. I have meticulously designed an optical learning tool for why this is. I see that PR already answered, but I'm a visual learner, so...*ducks under table*
Cute....hiding under the table isn't going to save your ass. Remember...I, like your wife...watch a lot of the ID channel murder stuff. You can run but you can't hide. Either that or I will get your wife to do my dirty work. I think between the 2 of us we could get away with it pretty easily.
On a different note and more drawn out explanations.... which no one really cares about....
I can't reply to a new account post until it has been officially approved and is showing up on the forum.
So I have to officially approve it....and then go compose a reply if I am going to reply to a new account post. I don't always reply to newly approved posts but in this case I was wanting to. I can usually think and type pretty fast but this time PR beat me to it because I got distracted by something and I forget what it was. PR was online and hopped right on it and beat me to the submit button.
And it is a long standing joke around here that if I get asked any question that I have to write a short novel as a response. It is just something I do. I explain things in WAAAAAYYYY too much detail quite often..... Oh hell, let's face it most of the time. If you asked me if the sun rises in the East and sets in the West I would probably have to explain in detail about "it depends on season and tilt of the earth and not maybe true East or true west" or something like that...when a simple "yes" would be accurate.
Which is why you get a short novel response.
Be glad you didn't get one of my long novel responses.

I do those as well.
I'm sorry, that was too long, didn't read it.
In all seriousness, I know, I'm just messing with you to see how far I can push the envelope. I enjoy living dangerously.
Lastly, my wife really doesn't need your push, she wants to kill me daily anyway, she just hasn't thought of a way to do without being caught yet.

Don't let her talk to Pugsy, she might get some ideas.

Personally, I think that what happened to Pugsy's first eight husbands was just plain coincidence.
My wife has every episode of Forensic Files mostly memorized. She just hasn't stumbled onto an algorithm for choosing which route she wants to go in doing me in yet. I admit that it makes me nervous sometimes when I catch her taking notes during some episodes. That's when I nervously laugh and say, "Learning a better way to kill me, Sweetheart?" She usually replies with, "Shhhhhh!" and then rewinds a few seconds back to get what I made her miss. I hope she remembers to burn her notes before she does anything. I mean, I wouldn't want her to get caught or anything.

Why do you think my husband won't let me go buy a backhoe? I got 40 acres here and an old dump site that needs to be filled in and covered up in the far corner. Great place to hide stuff...amid all that trash and covered with dirt.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

For the record, all those pictures of Pugsy's flowerbeds and garden plots have suddenly taken on new meaning for me.
Word of advice to Pugsy's husband: No Pugsy Criticism Allowed.
My heart goes out to Pugsy though--only woman in the Missouri rurals without her very own backhoe. Maybe we need to take up a collection.

back in ye olde days, when i and my wife where young and spritely, we used to navigate about our small kitchen rather blithely. you know, emptying the dishwasher, preparing dinner and whatever, both at the same time. we could easily dodge each other in a kind of dance, all the time talking about whatever.
i remember one time in particular. i had stopped to glance here way twice and she was making a point by gesturing with a knife. on the third time i asked "why is it every time i talk to you, you have a knife in your hand?'
without missing a beat she replied "that's so you won't flinch when the time comes.".

That sounds an awful lot like collusion sir.

That would be for the district attorney to decide on conspiracy, wouldn't it?
We would only be publicly, not secretly, funding the maintenance of property, without specific knowledge before or after the fact of any possible past or future crimes and without substantive basis for assumption of the likelihood of perpetration thereof. The GoGundMe lawyers should be on the hook for everything else. It shouldn't be much different from giving Zonker's wife a set of knives for their anniversary, right?
Husband: "Why is it that you're always speaking to me from the cab of your backhoe?"
Wife: "So you won't flinch when . . . "

Sometimes it's hard to know if people are joking or not. So, just in case, I sent a copy of the above to the Missouri police in your area. What's your husband's first name again?

Wait... I have a idea... I'll give you my H's first name if you give me your H's first name. I think your covered dirt pile would most likely hold two bodies, right?

Hmmm... this is getting better and better. Planning this will give me something to do other than type silly things on a forum and cleaning, cooking and doing laundry!
Someone should start a poll, about anything.

Be careful what you wish for, if two, then three would be entirely within the realm of possibility.
