Short answer, no.

Long answer, check eBay, as ResMed no longer sells their software to individuals.

Actually ... I think it is possible to buy the software from online vendors down under. The price is in Aussie dollars ... don't know what shipping amount is to US. Good luck!

You not only need the software, you also need the card reader --- and a card ( which you probably did get so that data can be taken to your doctor ).

Try

barry@cpapdownunder.com.au

http://www.cpapdownunder.com.au

Barry is located in the country (near NSW Vic border). He is very helpful (it was he who gave me the patch for autoScan software).

He has told me he is willing to ship to USA & his prices are very good (AutoScan from barry is cheaper (incl postage to US) than any US dealer who I have seen selling the software.

Just email him & ask him what is needed. You can say to him that Doug from Sydney passed on his email address.

DSM, can you really get Resmed stuff in the USA from cpapdownunder?

There site says

"The New ResMed S8 Series
S8 Lightweight - only available to local patients
S8 AutoScore - only available to local patients
S8 AutoSet Spirit - only available to local patients
HumidiAire 3i Humidifier - only available to local patients"

They don't say this about any other products. Is this more of Resmed's efforts to control the Internet?

The equipment, as I understand it, is only available to 'locals'. I just today received AutoScan 5.7 from a different Australian vendor, total cost ~$105 US including shipping. (Price will vary depending on exchange rate.)
Resmed S8 Vantage - integrated humidifier
Mirage Swift nasal pillow system
Autoscan 5.7 software

Resmed has banned United States internet retailers from selling their software to the patient, but Resmed permits this sale for Australian internet retailers? Hmm.... That's interesting.

I wonder why Peter Farrell singled out the United States? Why doesn't he want the U.S. cpap internet retailers and their customers to have the same advantages as the Australian cpap internet retailers and their customers? Hardly seems fair, but it must be legal or someone would have sued someone by now.

Does anyone know if you can buy Resmed software from European or Asian internet retailers? I'm curious to know the extent of Resmed's selective sales practices.
