After 2 years of blissful sleep, it has come to an end...HELP

Post by chopjaw » Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:38 am

Sup everyone,

So in December of 2017 I was prescribed my Resmed AirSense 10. I saw the benefits from it immediately. I have been praising CPAP tech to anyone who will listen. Moving forward to the last 1.5weeks. I have noticed that my sleep is staying constant at 7-8hrs a night. The issue is that (as I write this) during the day I feel like I didn't get any sleep at all. All I want to do is take a nap. Man, I feel exhausted... I'm wondering if any of you have gone through this and what did you do to fix?

Now before you all grasp as the low-hanging fruit, my mask is not leaking. I don't have a leak. I have done nothing to change my habits. I read for 30 minutes, get sleepy, put on the mask and fall askeep within 3-5 mins.... I did change my bed but that can't be it...

Is your AHI staying the same? Wonder if your machine data might hold some clues. I'm not one who knows, but I have seen people on here talk about looking at breathing patterns to see if there appear to be a lot of wakings.

Possible you've gained even a few lbs recently (? working at home) because it can make quite a difference to results unfortunately, and to how the mask fits.

My mouth dryness went away after I got successful at controlling my blood sugar.
Any number of things could come into play.
