Is there a way to make the air a little cooler on this machine? I don't have a heated hose. I didn’t find anything in settings, maybe I missed it?
Also, what's the best way to clean the hose?

You could try turning down the setting on the humidifier but that doesn't usually help cool the air all that much.
Basically you start with the room air temp...so the air temp in the bedroom as to be cooler....
Or some people put ice cubes in the water change.

I don't clean my hose so can't help in that regard. Sorry. It doesn't get dirty so I see no need to clean it.

Is it safe to boil my p30i mask in baking soda? I'm not certain it's made out of silicone. I'd love to get rid of the smell, it would make falling asleep so much easier.
Can I do it with the hose?

Oh, how I wish I had a good trick for you to try! But I just don't. With luck, it'll soon fade to the point where you don't much notice it.

Hang in there! You get use to breathing with the machine as time goes on. It took me a good couple of months before I got a handle on it, but now at 6 months I’ll wake up and feel like the machine isn’t even on sometimes (even though the pressure has ramped up to almost 13)! IMO our bodies are going to naturally want to fight against it at first, it’s just something that you are going to have to keep at until you adjust. Btw, if your still in a trail period with your mask then it may not hurt to call your provider and see if they can just replace it. I wash mine with soapy water everyday and it always feels fresh and clean at night.
