Time to go off topic in my off topic meme thread. This is not related to corona virus but with the 4th coming up I thought I would put out this small reminder.

indeed! we've got one of those who isn't happy with fireworks.

one of the good things about living ruraly in flagstaff was no fireworks. but i see a cluster of fireworks stands near us here.

guess it's time to go get a fresh supply of doggie downers.

unfortunately, only pharmaceuticals for our spoiled boy. he doesn't like the shirt and neither does my wife.

which is why i shouldn't put the thunder-shirt on my wife.

I have one dog who is terrified of loud noises and one who gets pissed off and barks to tell the loud noise to STFU because it annoys her.

I live out in the country and wouldn't normally have fireworks problems but my nearest neighbor owns a fireworks stand and we have to deal with this crap year round. The louder the better in his eyes. Annoys the hell out of me. It starts getting really bad around mid May and it won't slow down until probably August.

Thunder shirts don't help my little Toby. He's a big wuss....even the washing machine changing cycles will send him under the bed. Poor little guy. Now Lucy...the little pug...she wants to kill the loud thunder and fireworks and cusses them out until it finally quits. So I have one dog barking like crazy and another trying to crawl under my skin for protection.

My current dogs are pretty calm. One comes and sits next to us when its thundering or fireworks the others seem to ignore it.

My girl who passed away a few years ago used to be terrified. She would go hide in the shower when it was storming or loud nosies, until she got to deaf to hear them.
