Re: Hi,could someone explain the use of pressure support(PS) to me
Thanks for posting the chart. I do think it is worth considering adjusting your settings to get the AHI down to 2 or lower, but I don't feel competent to advise you, given the high level of PS and the O2 issues. I am also not sure how to think about your respiration rate, which is relatively high. The good thing there is that it keeps your minute ventilation at a good level (that's the volume of air you move in and out in a minute). I hope one of the experts will swing by to take a look.
It's good to know your O2 levels at night are pretty stable. Oscar will support some oximeters:
Oximetry Wizard
Data from the following pulse oximeters can be imported via OSCAR's Oximetry Wizard:
Contec CMS-50D+, CMS-50-E, CMS-50E
Contec CMS-50F, CMS-50H, CMS-50I (v3.7 firmware or later)
Pulox PO-200/300/400/500
Manual Import
Beginning in OSCAR 1.1.0, the following pulse oximeters are imported via OSCAR's Data > Import Viatom Data... menu. See Viatom File Import for how to download and import their data files.
Viatom/Wellue SleepU
Viatom/Wellue O2Ring
There's something to be said for being able readily to see how your O2 levels change in relation to other variables.

I don't know why and I don't know how, but my AHI was caculated and displayed wrongly. These are the correct ones I presume. Also some more graphs.

Re: Hi,could someone explain the use of pressure support(PS) to me
I'm going to guess the difference is due to including/not including all sessions. This is from the Oscar wiki:
Buttons (bars) to turn sessions on and off. Clicking on these buttons will include or exclude sessions from display of the night's data. Clicking on the blue and yellow session buttons will include or exclude sessions from the display of the night's data. This can be useful if (for example) you had a very brief nap in the afternoon and want to exclude it from the night's results. Note that turning a session off will change the calculated AHI for the night. Note also that sessions can be turned on and off using the small green/black buttons in the section information panel. When a session is off the button changes to black / red.

It's surprising to me that you have no reported centrals at a PS of 9.

Howdy, I changed my settings EPAP:9, IPAP:20, PS:6 and my AHI went down further.
What is your choice decongetant? Normal saline solution for irrigation and i.e. Otrivin with moisturizer?_________________

Re: Hi,could someone explain the use of pressure support(PS) to me
You need the extra PS -- it improved both your respiratory rate and tidal volume. For an adult male your volumes are low, no question about it. With that lower PS you breathe more rapid and shallow, which is hypoventilation.
You need to record your oxygen saturation as you make your PS changes. Without access to CO2 recording that a lab sometimes can provide, generally ResMed and PR both recommend that 90% + saturation throughout the night is an indirect sign of adequate ventilation. I think the highest PS you can get in VAuto is 10.

It's possible he's not normocapnic at baseline, due to the OHS.
